Can Ambits move to create a mobile performance area? There are conflicting reports online.

Yes! Ambits can move so long as the camera and performers/objects being tracked have a sensor attached. For example, two Ambits on a grid pole can be carried by an operator to create a mobile performance area of ~8’ (2.44m) x ~24’ (7.32m). All sensors, including the one mounted to the camera, MUST stay within this performance area as it moves. When an Ambit is mounted to the camera, the camera doesn’t need a sensor. This scenario creates a performance area of up to 13’ (depending on magnetic interference and depth of field) in front of the camera.
